This walking tour begins at the former Alcorn School and heads down Franklin Street examining the 1960s construction of Route 190 and the Enfield-Suffield Veterans Bridge. Then we will walk over the Connecticut River to the northern locks of the canal to the Bridge Lane/Bridge Street remnants. The tour continues across the river, north on Pearl Street, then turns right on New King Street back to the Alcorn School. (Tour starts at former Alcorn School, 1010 Enfield Street)
