The Hazard Powder Company was located along the Scantic River. This walking tour begins at the Powder Hollow baseball field (at the end of Dust House Rd.) and continues along the Scantic River Linear Park then returns to Powder Hollow Park. The tour will continue by car to tour the Collins Farm and enjoy ice cream at the Collins Creamery, 9 Powder Hill Rd.
