Bring Take Home Containers, Lunch & Water Bottle
In this fun, hands-on experience-based course, students will explore and strengthen their culinary skills. We will explore the commercial kitchen cooking various recipes with different themes daily. While cooking, students will learn and practice baking, sauteing, pan frying, whisking, folding, stirring and knife skills and make various foods like sushi, pineapple fried rice, empanadas, calzones, creole rice, pierogies, shepard's pie, jollof rice, chicken alfredo and more! We make a lot throughout the week so plan to bring large Tupperware containers so you can eat at home. Join us on Friday for our student-designed lunch to end the week too!
