This walking tour begins on Pleasant Street and heads north to the entrance of the St. Patrick's
Cemetery and the Thompsonville Cemetery. Participants will learn about Dr. Thomas Alcorn, Edgar H. Parkman, John O'Hear to name a few. The tour continues past carpet company housing down Lafayette St. and Bigelow Ave. The tour continues on Alden Ave. past St Adalbert's Church. The tour wraps up, down Lincoln St., past the old North School and Polish Home on Church St. (Tour starts at Town parking lot on the corner of Pleasant St./Whitworth St.) Rain date: October 17.
